play with abandon

What exactly does play with abandon mean? This is my first blog...its my first writing in a very long time so please excuse the rust....

Play with abandon brings to mine that you have to play hard and sometimes you will lose things, lose people, lose hope. And sometimes our minds have soooo much dust on them, that to get through all the locks it might take a lot of chipping away at. We put our minds to rest sometimes after a period of great creativity so that it might rest but then we forget about it. Our key gets lost, the box gets buried and before long many years of dust are hiding our little mind away from the rest of the world.
I found my key, its a bit rusty in fact i'm trying to unlock my mind but I might need to keep at it for a day or two to get my key more polished and able to slide through the keyhole. I need to start adding the things in my life that keep my key shiny and polished. These things would be music....time to myself.....friends.....GOD......obedience....patience.....its not going to go anywhere if I don't take time each day and practice.
The title of my blog spot is cruthaigh which is gailic for create....i'm about to create. I used to create a lot when I was younger and so called "lost"...then you find things you thought you needed in life, love, family, children, etc but all of a sudden you still feel lost because now you have abandoned the part of you that used to be taken care of . Its a plank on a pirate ship to balance on. Taking care of yourself...taking care of others...losing yourself...not losing yourself.
I'm starting my pirate journey to play with abandon and rediscover the irish girl who loves photography, red wine, and words....
